Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify pregnant women and help them register at health centres.
  • Encourage regular antenatal check-ups.
  • Promote the importance of institutional deliveries.
  • Provide awareness about postnatal care.
👶 Child Health Care ＋

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Encourage families to ensure timely immunisation of children.
  • Provide guidance on newborn care.
  • Help monitor children's growth and health.
  • Inform health workers about identified health concerns.
💉 Disease Prevention Activities ＋

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create public awareness about communicable diseases.
  • Assist in immunisation programmes.
  • Promote hygiene, safe drinking water and mosquito control.
  • Report suspected disease outbreaks to the concerned health centre.
🏥 Health Services ＋

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Connect people with government health services.
  • Help people access necessary medical examinations and treatment.
  • Assist in health camps and awareness programmes.
  • Communicate health-related instructions to the community.
🥗 Nutrition and Hygiene ＋

  • Explain the importance of a balanced and nutritious diet.
  • Create awareness about nutrition for children and mothers.
  • Promote personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness.
  • Provide information about related health and nutrition services.
📋 Surveys and Reporting ＋

  • Conduct household visits and collect health information as directed.
  • Identify families requiring healthcare support.
  • Maintain prescribed records and reports.
  • Share necessary information with the concerned health workers.
